What is the enrollment process?

Is there a waiting list?
Depending on the time of year and the age group, we may have a waiting list. We encourage families to apply early, especially for infant care which tends to fill quickly. We process applications in the order they are received.
Programs & Curriculum
What curriculum do you follow?
We use a play-based curriculum that incorporates elements from various early childhood education approaches. Our program focuses on the whole child, promoting development across cognitive, social-emotional, physical, and creative domains.
How do you handle naptime?
We have designated rest periods for all age groups. Infants nap according to their individual schedules. Toddlers and older children have a group rest time after lunch, typically from 12:30 to 2:30 PM. Children who don’t sleep are provided with quiet activities.

Yes, we provide breakfast, lunch, and two snacks daily. Our meals are nutritionally balanced and prepared fresh in our kitchen. We accommodate food allergies and special dietary requirements with proper documentation.

We work in partnership with families during the potty training process. Our toddler teachers are experienced in supporting this developmental milestone and will follow your lead while providing consistent, positive reinforcement at the center.
Do you offer any extracurricular activities?
We incorporate special activities like music, movement, and art into our regular curriculum. For older children, we occasionally offer optional enrichment programs for an additional fee, such as dance, sports, or language exposure.
Health & Safety
What are your health and safety protocols?
Safety is our top priority. We maintain secure entry systems, conduct regular emergency drills, follow strict health protocols, and ensure all staff are certified in CPR and First Aid. Our facility is regularly inspected and meets all local and state licensing requirements.
What is your illness policy?
Children must be symptom-free (without medication) for 24 hours before returning to the center after an illness. This includes fever, vomiting, diarrhea, or any contagious conditions. We promptly notify parents if their child becomes ill during the day.
How do you handle medications?
We can administer prescribed medications with written authorization from parents and proper documentation from healthcare providers. All medications must be in their original containers with clear instructions.
What are your COVID-19 protocols?
Our COVID-19 protocols follow current CDC and local health department guidelines. These may include enhanced cleaning procedures, health screenings, and temporary policy adjustments as needed. We communicate any changes promptly to all families.
How do you handle allergies?
We take allergies very seriously. With proper documentation, we implement individualized allergy action plans, train all staff on emergency procedures, and maintain a nut-free environment. We work closely with families to ensure all dietary restrictions are followed.
Parent Communication & Involvement
How will I know about my child's day?
We provide daily reports for all children, detailing meals, naps, activities, and special moments. For infants and toddlers, these reports also include diaper changes and feeding information. We also use a secure app for photos and updates throughout the day.

We welcome parent volunteers for special events, classroom activities, and field trips. We also host family nights, workshops, and seasonal celebrations throughout the year.
How do you handle behavioral issues?
We use positive guidance techniques to help children develop self-regulation and appropriate social skills. If behavioral concerns arise, we partner with families to develop consistent strategies between home and school. For persistent issues, we may recommend additional resources or support.
